Georgetown Flower Market

Overview

In partnership with Georgetown Main Street, Bridget led the end-to-end development of the Georgetown Flower Market brand, a new seasonal market launching Spring 2026. Modeled after London’s Columbia Road Flower Market, this vibrant event will bring flowers, plants, and artisanal goods to O Street NW on the first Saturday of each month. Bridget’s role spanned brand strategy, visual identity, and marketing collateral to ensure the market launches with a cohesive, compelling presence.

The Brand

Our visual identity for the Georgetown Flower Market feels handcrafted – a nod to the care that local growers invest in their crops – while still feeling elevated because this is Georgetown, after all. We achieve this with a casual handwritten script paired with a clean, modern sans serif. Our brand icon is the hydrangea, a reflection of the deep purple blooms appearing up and down Wisconsin Avenue in the spring.

Impact

This work provides a clear, elevated foundation for the Georgetown Flower Market’s debut and growth, positioning it as a neighborhood staple that supports small businesses, beautifies the corridor, and draws foot traffic to O Street.
