Shield Pals Branding & Digital Markeitng Plan
The Shield Pals journey began as a pivot: An event fabrication company had to temporarily shutter during COVID, so they shifted focus to producing personal protective equipment for medical professionals. Initially borne out of of pure necessity, the idea was born to print fun characters on reusable protective face shields for medical professionals, in order to ease kids’ hearts and put smiles on their faces when they were admitted to the hospital, and to keep hospital staff safe.
Bridget’s role was initially to build a brand that brought joy and comfort to PPE equipment and medical professionals. As the brand quickly developed into something built for any professional and individual getting back to work and trying to stay safe - our social presence grew immensely. Bold, recognizable colors led the charge with both our designs and logos.
Bridget also developed a digital marketing plan, as well as key brand messaging to be used throughout the brand’s first brick-and-mortar retail space – coincidentally, the first PPE retail store in America.
Shield Pals quickly became something more than a brand, it became a call-to-arms for professionals that were getting back to work. The profound impact the shields have isn’t limited to their patients and customers, but became a story driver for their day-to-day lives.
